The Joy That I TasteI live in La Palma. When I had lived a life of faith for a long time, I still could not solve a spiritual thirst and feeling vanity by anything. To get out of this thirst and environment, I received disciple training and went to a Bible study, but these formal programs in an organization made me feel emptier inside. Meanwhile Jesus who came to find the woman by Jacob's well came to me and gave me the spring of water of life so that I am not thirsty anymore. (John 4:14) Although I live in the situation of a tiring immigrant life, actually I experience a heavenly rejoicing and peace. I realize I can never have this experience by my own effort and way. Two years ago, the Lord Jesus led me to the local church. In the local church, the eyes of my heart were enlightened as Job 42:5 says, I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eyes have seen You. As time goes on, my enjoyment of the Lord increases and I experience the breadth and length and height and depth of God's truth. (Ephesians 3:18) Even the Lord Jesus who became my shelter and source of eternal happiness healed my physical chronic illness in a moment. Now, I am living a life of faith, tasting joy day by day. I really praise the Lord. SC | Back to List |
